ABOUT CHoSEN CO-OP
We offer an all inclusive Kindergarten, an all inclusive First Grade class, and an all inclusive Transition class for 7/8 year olds that covers a wide array of academic topics. We also have a variety of elective and core classes for children in grades 2-12. Preschool classes are not available. Our program is a non-profit organization that is run by the sole support of our teachers and parents.

OUR SICK POLICY:
There are many yucky illnesses out there now and we want to do our best to keep our students healthy. We ask that if your family has been exposed to the Flu, Rotavirus, Strep Throat, H1N1 Virus, etc. to NOT bring your child to class. It is unfair to expose the rest of the children and the staff to these illnesses. We will do our best to have the students wash their hands frequently as well. Please help us to keep our co-op healthy! Thank you!
GENERAL INFO: Please read the following as some things have changed.
- Cost of Classes: $25.00 for 11 weeks for each 55 minute class period. Kindergarten, First Grade, and the Transition class are $120 for the full day and each has a full-time teacher's aide.
- We encourage you to register your children for the full day, but this is not required. There are many events or happenings that occur throughout the day that we would not want your child to miss.
- We accept CASH AND CHECKS (payable to Calvary Chapel). Tuition balance must be paid by the end of the first day. If additional payment options are needed due to financial hardship or if you have any questions regarding tuition, please speak with Jen Parsley at 866-3636.
- We have a small registration fee of $10 per family per semester.
Any cancellations or changes (which we highly discourage) MUST BE MADE BY THE END OF THE FIRST DAY. Once teachers are paid, we CANNOT refund any money. - Please be here at least 10 minutes before your child's class is to begin. This gives you time to sign-in, ask questions, etc.
- It is required that you escort and sign your child in to their classroom for their first period, and pick them up and sign them out from their last period classroom ON TIME. Leave a phone number where you can be reached. In compliance with Calvary Chapel policy, students are required to be within the CHoSEN Co-op setting or physically with the parent.
They are NOT allowed to roam the property unattended!! Thank you!
- Please update your Family Profile annually. Look for the Family Profile tab at the top of this page.
- VOLUNTEERING: You must sign-up to volunteer during on-line registration or you will be charged the non-volunteer opt-out fee. Remember, one day is from 8:10am - 1:40pm. We ask that you arrive a little early so we can get you settled in and that you stay a little extra so you can help with clean up. Thank you very much!
One child - 1 full day of volunteering or $30.00 opt-out fee
Two children - 2 days or $40.00 opt-out fee
Three or more children - 3 days or $50.00 opt-out fee
NEW ~ We are now offering an additional volunteer option: you may pay a lesser fee if you choose to work at least one of your volunteer days but not all. Those reduced rates are as follows:
Two children registered: 1 volunteer day + $25
Three children or more registered: 1 day + $35 OR 2 days + $20
- We greatly encourage volunteering since our co-op can only function at its best when all parents, teachers, and staff are participating. However, we realize that this does not always work for everyone. If you do choose to volunteer and an occasion comes up when you need for someone to take your place, YOU will be expected to contact us to reschedule your time. Please notify us as soon as possible. If you do not fulfill your volunteer time in a rescheduled slot, you will be charged for the volunteer fee. A coordinator will call you to remind you of the days which you signed up for.
- Volunteers will be used in one of the following ways: childcare aide, teacher's assistant, hallway monitor, bathroom monitor, desk duty, clean up, or any other various jobs. Remember, we LOVE and APPRECIATE our faithful volunteers. Thank you!
