WEEKLY EVENTS:

Each week, the students will be given a small assignment of something to bring in to the co-op or to wear. Some are silly, some are serious. This is not required, but it sure is a lot of fun!!
Please note: Weekly Events are subject to change without much notice, so check weekly email for updates.
Also, any 'silly attire' for the Weekly Events must still conform to modest and God-honoring dress codes.

  • February 3 - Hug Day - Welcome back! Give all your ol' buddies a great big hug!!
  • February 10 - Valentine's Day - Red versus pink!! Whaduya think?? (Boys wear red and girls wear pink!) Bring in Valentines to share with all the children in one (or more) of your classes.
  • February 17 - Presidents' Day - Wear red, white, and blue. Dress up as your favorite President or First Lady!
  • February 24 - Cool Dude Day - How COOL can you get? Sunglasses? Dude hats? Jeans? Leather jacket??
  • March 2 - Camouflage Day - Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come dressed head to toe in your favorite camo gear.
  • March 9 - Pajama Day - Our all-time favorite! Wear your PJs, slippers and robes...and don't forget those curlers, girls!
  • March 16 - St. Paddy's Day - Green, green and more green. Wear something green and bring in a yummy green snack to share, or else! Good luck!
  • March 23 - Crazy Hair Day - Show us your craziest hairdos - spikes, streaks, ponytails, colors, braids, ribbons, wigs, rollers, frizzes... Join us for the FUN!!
  • March 30 - Mix 'n Match Day - Wear all of those crazy, mixed up, backwards, upside down, inside out, silly clothes!
  • April 13 - Sports/Hobby/Activity Day - When someone asks you what your favorite pastime is, what do you say? Is it football, basketball, dance, horseback riding, chess, soccer, reading or cooking? Come dressed up in your favorite attire! Get creative!
  • April 20 - Ice Cream Party, Teacher Appreciation & T-shirt Signing Day - Our end of the semester ice cream party...a must have!! Thank your teachers for all they've done this past semester with a homemade card or drawing, words of appreciation, or however you wish! Don't forget to bring a t-shirt and Sharpie marker so your friends can sign your shirt!

LUNCH MENU:

This semester we will be offering Domino's cheese pizza. The cost is $1.00 per slice, or $7 for a whole pizza (8 slices). Please order your lunch upon arrival in the morning. We will continue to offer additional snacks and drinks for 50 cents. And of course anyone is welcome to bring their own lunch from home. Please note that soft drinks are NOT permitted during co-op hours. They cannot be brought from home and vending machines on campus are not to be used. Thank you for your assistance in abiding by this rule.

In an effort to simplify the lunch ordering process, we are pleased to offer you the option of prepaying for your child's pizza, drink and snacks. This pre-paid option would save you the time of standing in line to place your order each week, and can be elected at any time throughout the semester. Once elected, payment in full for the remaining Fridays is due, with NO REFUNDS, NO SKIPPED DAYS, and NO CHANGES to the standing order. If you have an order for snacks, all your child will need to do is pick up his snack each Friday after signing-in before his first class. If you only have a pizza and/or drink order, there's no stopping at all!

FALL SEMESTER PROJECT

CHoSEN Co-op hosts an annual CHoSEN History Fair every fall semester. On the 10th week, the hallways will be filled with projects and displays, music and costumes to represent the many historic time periods of our world...from Indian villages to prairie days, and from medieval castles to outer space. More details will be provided in the fall.
